Zoë Etkin is a Los Angeles based doula, poet and teacher. She earned her MFA in Writing from California Institute of the Arts and her BA in Creative Writing and Literature with a Theatre minor from The College of Santa Fe. She is a CAPPA trained birth and postpartum doula, and owns her own doula business, Umeboshi Babies~Naturally-Minded Birth & Postpartum Doula Services. She’s the editor and founder of Red Sky: A Literary Journal. She spends her time writing poems, helping babies into the world, assisting parents in early parenthood, teaching art, dance, poetry and Sunday school, and enjoying life with her dog, Betsy, and partner, Max.
